What kind of parking tickets can you help with?

Both of the main types: Penalty Charge Notices issued by councils and local authorities, and Parking Charge Notices issued by private parking operators on private land such as retail parks, hospitals and residential estates. They work very differently, so the first thing we do is establish which one you have. If your notice is something else — a bus lane or moving traffic contravention, for example — tell us and we will point you to the right route.

Can ParkingSpinner guarantee that my appeal will succeed?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Appeals are decided by the issuing authority, the parking operator or an independent appeals service — never by us. What we can do is help you understand your options, make sure your case is put clearly and in time, and tell you honestly when we think an appeal is unlikely to get anywhere. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice.

How do I book a call?

Log in or register (free), pick a date and time on the booking calendar, add your phone number, and confirm. That is the whole process, and there is nothing to pay. You can add your Parking Charge or PCN reference and a short note if you want us to look at something specific before we ring.

What happens after I book?

Accepted Answer

You get an on-screen confirmation with your booking reference straight away, followed by a confirmation email containing the date and time, what to have ready, a link to your appeal template, and a link you can use to reschedule or cancel. We call you on the number you gave us at the time you chose.

How long is the call, and what does it cost?

About twenty minutes, and it is free with no obligation. We hold a thirty-minute slot so there is room to go over if your situation needs it.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every confirmation email contains a private link to your booking where you can pick a new time or cancel outright. No need to email or ring us to do it, though you are welcome to if you prefer.

What should I have ready for the call?

Your parking notice — both sides — plus any photographs you took at the location, and any letters you have already received about the charge. If you still have the pay-and-display ticket or a payment confirmation, keep that handy too.

What does the appeal template cost?

It comes with Today's pass (£1 for 24 hours), the same pass that opens the Win Win ParkingHelpers app for the day; you buy it with a free account. Ask for the template on the appeal template page, or book a call and we will send it with your confirmation email.

How will I receive my template?

It is shown on the appeal template page as soon as you request it, so you can read it immediately, copy it or download it as a text file. We also email you a copy for your records.

Do I have to use the template exactly as it is written?

Accepted Answer

No — and you should not. It is a structure, not a script. Every parking case turns on its own facts, so replace the highlighted sections with your own account of what happened and only include points you can actually support with evidence. A short, specific, honest letter beats a long generic one.

Should I appeal or just pay?

That depends on your notice, your evidence and the deadline printed on it. Appealing can affect any reduced amount you have been offered, so it is worth understanding the timings before you decide. This is exactly what the call is for — we will tell you straight if we think paying is the sensible option.

How does the spin wheel work?

Accepted Answer

Enter your email, your phone number and — if you have one — your parking ticket reference, then spin. Every spin returns a prize from the wheel, and you will receive an email confirmation with the next steps. One spin per email address to start — if the wheel lands on extra spins, they are added to your balance and you can use them straight away.

What happens if I win Ticket Paid?

We email you with instructions on how to claim. You will need to provide the valid parking ticket details you entered when spinning, and we then pay the ticket directly. Winners are typically processed within 24 to 48 hours. Terms and conditions apply.

Is this a legitimate way to get tickets paid?

Yes. We run promotional prize draws as part of the Parking Empowerment Network (P.E.N). Winners are selected at random through the spin wheel mechanism, and we pay valid parking tickets directly to the issuing authority on behalf of the winner. All transactions must go through approved channels only, at all times.

What about refunds?

Products, services, membership dues and training costs are pre-paid and non-refundable after use. Full or partial refunds are not valid after 14 days, subject to any additional specific offers and applicable terms and conditions.

Can I sell or transfer my parking ticket?

Yes. Members can sell, flip or auction their parking ticket through our Parking Ticket Supermarket — a members-only online scrappage club. Details are available on request.

How does cashback parking work?
